Joulu, uusi vuosi ja tammikuu 2019 Filippiineillä.
-tuntoja ja mietteitä kuluneesta kuukaudesta
Viime joulu meni täysin erilaisissa tunnelmissa täällä Filippiineillä. Siinä missä Suomessa ja Euroopassa hiljennytään joulun viettoon kotipiirissä lähimmäisten kanssa, niin filippiiniläiset viettävät aikaa ostoskeskuksissa sukunsa kanssa suurella joukolla käyden yhdessä syömässä, elokuvissa ja muutenkin tehden mukavia asioita yhdessä.
Joulu
Jouluna elokuvien näytökset olivat loppuunmyytyjä ja satojenmeyrien jonot teattereihin. Tämä oli minulle suomalaisena erikoinen kokemus. Olenhan koko ikäni tottunut tähän asti kokoontumaan vanhempieni ja sisareni perheen kanssa joulun viettoon. Lapsuudessani vietettiin joulua niin, että isäni kaikki sisarukset perheineen olivat tulleet isovanhempieni kotiin ja ne vasta olivatkin tunnelmallisia jouluja.
Täällä Filippiineillä joulu tuntui aika kaupalliselta kun jouluaattonakaan kaupat eivät hiljentyneet, vaan sama joulun ostosmeininki jatkui kaikkien joulupyhien ajan.
Uusi Vuosi 2019
Uusi vuosi olikin sitten taas perinteisempi. Edellisenä vuonna se oli kulunut filippiiniläisessä perheessä aivan lasten ehdoilla. Lapsille oli keksitty kaikkia huskoja seurapelikilpailuja ja leikkejä. Vanhemmat seurasivat niitä ja saattoivat pöydissään ottaa wiskipaukkuja tai olutta.
Tänä uutena vuotena vietimme uuden vuoden aaton hotellin kattoterassilla, minne hotelli oli kehittänyt hyvän tunnelman. Djt soittivat musiikkia, oli hyvää ruokaa 6 kokin grillaamana ja seisova pöytä. Arvontoja ja muuta ohjelmaa. Ilotulitukset näkyivät hyvin kattoterassilta.
Oli ihana nauttia lämmöstä ja alussa nautin liikaakin, sillä ihoni paloi ja Aloe Vera oli pelastukseni siihen. Iho kuoriutui pikkuhiljaa 2 viikon aikana, mutta nyt olen taas ottanut uudestaan aurinkoa varovaisemmin ja paljon aurinkovoidetta käyttäen.
Vietimme 12 päivää Ilo-ilon kaupungissa. Kävimme katsomassa paljon uutuuselokuvia, syöden hyvin, hieronnoissa ja jalkahoidoissa. Nähtävyydet olin jo nähnyt edellisillä kerroilla, joten oli aikaa rentoutua. Jet lag oli tällä kerralla minulla erityisen paha noin vajaa 10 päivää, mutta sitten se tasaantui.
Cebu ja Bohol
Seuraavana kohteena oli lentomme Cebuun. Sielläkin olen jo ollut muutamia kertoja. Viimeksi teimme useat nähtävyyskierrokset, joten nyt oli vuorossa saarikierrokset. Yksityinen vain meille oleva veneretki saariin tuntui luksukselta.
Teimme myös päivän kestävän retken Boholin saareen ja tällä kertaa olimme valinneet eri nähtävyyksiä kuin viimeksi viime heinäkuussa.
Cebussa vietimme 8 vuorokautta rentoutuen hotellin kattoterassin uima-altaassa, kuntosalilla, elokuvissa, useamman kerran keilaamassa, luistelemalla!! Yritin opettaa filippiiniläistä ystävääni luistelemaan ja se oli tosi hauskaa. Myös jousiammunta kuului ohjelmaan.
Luistelua shortseissa Cebussa, mikä todella erikoinen kokemus!
Mikä erikoinen kokemus meille molemmille olikaan käydä luistelemassa Filippiineillä. En tiennyt sen edes olevan mahdollista ja kun löysimme siihen mahdollisuuden, niin ei epäilystäkään ettemme olisi kokeilleet. Ensimmäistä kertaa elämässä luistelin shortseissa. Poikaystäväni oli luistimilla ensimmäistä kertaa elämässä jaoli tosi hauskaa opettaa häntä luistelemaan.
Boracay
Nyt viimeiseksi saavuimne tänne Boracayn upealle saarelle. Tämä on viides kerta kun olen tällä saarella. Aina viihdyn täällä parhaiten. Saarihan oli suljettuna 6 kk ja avattiin syntymäpäivänäni taas viime lokakuussa. Saaren päätien kunnostaminen on vielä kesken ja se aiheuttaa saarella liikenneruuhkia. Saari on vielä keskeneräinen, mutta suuntaus on hyvään suuntaan.
Erityisesti sen huomaa saaren white sand beachillä. Ranta on puhdistettu kaikesta roskasta. Rantavesi on kirkasta ja levä poistunut. Ranta puhdistettiin jopa merestä korjaamalla sukeltamalla kaikki ylimääräinen roska merenpohjasta.
Minusta tämä tammikuu on parasta aikaa viettää aikaa ja lomailla täällä Filippiineillä. Kun Suomessa on kylmä ja kuulemma lumimyrskytkin riesana.
Nautin tästä valoisuudesta, auringosta, lämmöstä, hyvästä maukkaasta ruasta ja rentoutumisesta. Mottoni on nauttia jokaisesta annetusta päivästä. Näin vanhemmiten sitä ymmärtää kuin loppujen lopuksi elämä on lyhyt. Lapsena aika tuntui pysähtyneeltä ja kesät pitkiltä. Nyt vuodet vierivät nopeasti ja haluan nauttia jäljellä olevasta ajastani.
Valitsin Boracayllä tällä kertaa hotellin sijaan Airbnbn kautta vuokrattavan asunnon. Minusta hyvä päätös, voi nukkua ja herätä milloin haluaa. Ei ole sidottuna hotellien aikatauluihin, se alkoi taas edellisen kolmen viikon aikana taas ahdistamaan. Tämä asunto on loistava. Saaren rauhallisemmalla puolella ja kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. 75 m2 huoneisto on juuri sopiva viihtyvyyden kannalta.
Mukavan lisän tuo olohuoneessa oleva uima-allas. Sänky on täällä ihanan pehmeä. Cebussa 4 tähden hotellissa oli ihmeen kova sänky. Täällä on ollut mukava valmistaa ruokia partnerini kanssa. Hän on loistava kokki ja osaa tehdä herkullista ruokaa. Katolla on aurinkoterassi ja käy raikas tuuli, ei tule liian kuuma kuten hiekkarannalla maatessa.
Erityistä on huomata että joka kohteessa minut on muistettu. Tietoni on löytynyt hotellien vastaanotoista ja virkailijat, hotellin johtaja ym. muistaneet minut. Samoin viime vuonna asumssamme Boracayn hotellissa niin henkilökunta kuin Span hierojat muistivat meidät. Vietinhän siellä syntymäpäiväänikin. Muistivat jopa missä huoneessa olimme majoittuneet. Erikoisia kokemuksia.
Negatiivinen kokemus oli se että saarelle tulo oli tehty sekavammaksi kun kaikilta tulijoilta tarkastettiin missä yöpyy Boracayn saarella. Sitten paperien täyttöä, hyväksyntää ja leimausta, saat jopa leiman käteesi siitä että saarelle saapumisesi on hyväksytty. Eurooppalaisesta systeemi tuntui aika erikoiselta.
Kuukausi on toisaalta kulunut hitaasti ja paljon koettu, mutta toisaalta taas nopeasti. Tänne Boracaylle olisi voinut jäädä pitemäksikin aikaa kuin tämä 10 päivää. Viime vuonna 3 viikon oleskelu Boracayllä tuntui sopivalta.
Ensi viikolla on paluulennot 4 kpl takaisin talviseen Suomeen. Kuinkakohan sitä tottuu taas pakkasiin tämän ihanan kuukauden lämmön jälkeen?

New year 2019 new year was then again moretraditionel. The previous year i was passed phino family just in children's terms. To the Childerb was invented all funny social games and plays. Parents followed them and could in their tables take whisky shots or beer. This as a new year, we spent a new year's Eve hotel roof Terrace, where the hotel was developed a good mood. In Cebu we spent 8 days relaxing in the hotel's a rooftop Terrace the pool, gym, movies, more time in bowling and ice skating !! I tried to teach my filipino friend to skate and it was really a lot of fun. Also archery belonged to the program. Skating shorts in Cebu, which really special experience! What is a special experience both of US was to ve able to ice skate in the Philippines. I know it even as possible and when we found on the ability, so no doubt we wanted to try. The first time in my life i skated in shorts. My boyfriend was skating the first time in his life and it was really fun to teach him skate.
Boracay now last arrived in here Boracays spectacular Island. This is the sixth time when I have this on the Island. Always feel comfortable here best. This island was closed 6-month and opened on my birthday again last October. The Island of the main road redevelopment is still and it will cause the Island of traffic congestion. Island is still incomplete, but trend is a good way. In particular note the Island's White sand Beach. Beach is cleaned all trash. Beach water is a clear and tras has left. Beach cleaned up to the sea repair diving all extra trash the seabed. I think this January is the best time to spend time and vacation here in the Philippines. When in Finland is cold and reportedly snowstorms impede. I enjoy this lightnes, the Sun, heat, good tasty food and relaxing. My orhase is enjoying each given day. So in later life is to understand than after all, life is short. When as child time felt stopped and Summers long. Now years goes past quickly and I would like to enjoy the remaining my time. I chose in Boracay this time instead the hotel airbnbn through rebted apartment. I think it a good decision, can sleep and wake up at wants. There is no tied up hotel schedules, it started again the last three weeks again stress with timetables. This apartment is a great. The Island most peaceful side and walk distance from the Center. 75 m2 apartment has just suitable for comfort point of view. A nice addition to bring the living room in the pool. Bed is here lovely soft. In Cebu 4-star hotel had a miracle hard bed. Here has been the nice to manufacture dishes with my partner. He is a great chef and know how to make a delicious food. On the roof is Sun Terrace and visit crisp winds, should not be too hot such as on the Beach lay on. Special is to note that i was remembered. Of my knowledge is found hotel receptions and officers, hotel manager etc. Remember me. As well last year when we stayed in Boracay hotel so staff at the SPA massagers remembered US. I spent my last birthday here. Remembered even the room we stayed. Unique experiences.
