Isla de Gigantes ja muut lähisaaret
Meillä oli jo ennakkosuunnitelmissa mennä saarikierrokselle veneellä ja kolmen vuoden haaveeni on ollut päästä tälle kuuluisalle Isla de Gigantes saarelle.
Saarelle ei tehdä järjestettyjä ryhmäretkiä, koska kysyntää ei ole niin paljon. Ainoa vaihtoehto on vuokrata oma vene miehistöineen. Veneitä on kolmea kokoa riippuen matkustajien määrästä. Pienin vene on max. 10 hengelle ja hinta on sama meneekö yksi vai 10 henkeä retkelle. Hinta tälle veneelle päiväksi on 3.500 pesoa, joka on noin 58 €. No onhan se luksusta matkustaa yhdessä yksityisellä veneellä eikä tarvitse kuunnella muiden matkustajien ääniä. Matka saarille on yllättävän pitkä. Matkustimme hieman yli tunnin ennenkuin saavuimme Isla de Gigantesille. Sitä kannatti odottaa! Saari on juuri sellainen kun olin kuvista nähnyt. Olimme viettäneet näillä kolmella saarella niin paljon aikaa että muihin saariin menoon ei ollut enää aikaa. Lisäksi yksi saarista oli suljettu luonnon säilyttämiseksi saarella. Varsinainen syy saaren sulkemiseen turisteilta jäi kyllä hieman epäselväksi.

There were only a few small boats on the island, so they did not come to normal tourists, but were able to be in peace and get around.
I enjoy the island. The island is really idyllic and you can get great pictures from there. A special feature was that most islands had to pay a small entrance fee. It was often 40 pesos per person, which is 65 cents. Likewise, before we went on a trip to the harbor, we had to pay a fee that goes to nature conservation. The fee was 75 pesos per adult, or roughly 1 €.
The next island was called Sandbar, there was a long sand bar where our boat was anchored. The island had no other food on the island than seafood and fish. We left the food and focused on shooting and sunbathing. However, we liked the called avocado ice cream called ice candy.

We had spent so much time on these three islands that there was no time left for the other islands. In addition, one of the islands was closed to preserve nature on the island. The real reason for the closure of the island from the tourists was somewhat unclear.
It was time to go on a return trip. The wind was slightly up and I put wristband back on the SEA BAN bracelets. They help to nauseate the sea, the ground and the air. I thought they were helpful and could not have been badly wobbly.
